[55 Fiction} - Nature's Elements

EARTH

[Place: SriLankan Refugee Camp]

The policeman was checking everyone’s belongings, when an eight year old refused to show his pouch.

“What’s that ? show me”

“I wont” uttering, he started to run…

The cop chased him, hit his legs with his lathi, then squeezed his hands to get the pouch and emptied it… to see sand…

The trembling boy said ,”My mother land”.

AIR

Maria, my ex-love, was seemingly dejected. I went near her and gently touched her hair.

“I cant forget him mom! Even now I feel he’s around…” she told her mom.

“Maria! You are done with him.. Don’t even think about that moron scientist. He has time only for his experiments!”

I smirked and gave her a gentle kiss, thinking of the moronic science, that made me invisible J

WATER

George smiled unceremoniously as he pushed David into the water. He was an expert in his job.

Shocked and surprised, David cried for help and tried hard not to drown, but in vain. He gasped for breath and was nearing his death.

George, his swimming teacher, then jumped into the pool to teach him the tricks.
